Rachel and Todd at the National Cathedral and Hay Adams Hotel

When Rachel and I first talked on the phone, she was knee-deep in planning. It was going to be a big wedding and she was doing all the work from her home in Connecticut. It was a big task and I have to give her kudos for doing such a great job. She was very laid back about the whole process and even on the day of she didn't sweat it when the flower girl continued to lick a red ring pop while her dress was being hemmed. Even I was a bit nervous with a rogue ring pop in the bridal suite. But Rachel kept her calm all day. She did what I always suggest to brides: hire vendors that are trusted in the industry and then trust them to do their job. Congrats to Todd and Rachel for a fabulous wedding, and for a great marriage.

Rachel and her father have a very special relationship:

A typical DC site: A rally in front of the Turkish Embassy held us up in traffic on Mass Ave.

This is a more traditional shot than I usually take, but I thought it worked here:

The Bishop's Garden is right next to the Cathedral and is a perfect place for group shots.
