Carrie and Chris at Meridian Center

Wow! What a wonderful way to start my busy season. This couple is absolutely heartwarming in so many ways. They have such fabulous friends and family that gave glowing toasts to the couple. This photo is one of my favorite from the day because I would wish this kind of moment for every couple that gets married. They are completely in the moment and are surrounded by all the people they really love.

When we send out our prewedding questionnaire, there is one question that we ask: "What is the single most important picture from your wedding day?" and almost always the couple says: "A candid moment of us looking very happy" I think this picture does the job. I hope you enjoy this magical Meridian House wedding:

It was very important to capture Carrie's "Oma."

A funny moment as we arrive to Meridian House to catch the groomsmen entering. Carrie didn't know that Chris couldn't see a thing inside the limo.

Carrie's Mom is a Federal Judge, and so she officated the ceremony. How special!

Ashley and Phil: A Washington DC Wedding

Ashley and Phil love DC, but they live in Colorado. So when Ashley decided to do their wedding here, it was like planning a destination wedding. But she had help from her amazing bridesmaid and from fabulous planner Pam Barefoot. The timeline was put together perfectly to include a trip to the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial AND the Capitol Building! Well, I'll just let the photos speak for themselves:

Katie Purcell - Wow...thats really all I can say. These pictures are amazing! The angles and just randomness of some of the photos make them look so cool. I love the black and white candid at the end (clearly taken towards the end of the night haha). Truly looks like a magical night and it looks like you and phil and all your guests had a blast.
